A home for every Jewish student in Vienna.

Shabbat dinners every week, learning one-on-one, holidays, trips and a place that feels like family. For 36 hours, matching partners add a euro for every euro you give.

Matching partners

€90,000 in matching pledges

Matching partners give euro for euro while their pledge lasts. The bars show how much of each pledge is still waiting for your gift.

Every pledge shown is confirmed in writing before launch. The matchers on this demo are samples.

Why this campaign

Students come to Vienna from all over the world. This is their Jewish home here.

They come to study at Uni Wien, WU, TU and MedUni. Chabad on Campus is where they find a Friday night table, a study partner and friends for life.

This campaign funds the year ahead: weekly Shabbat dinners, learning, holiday programs, trips and the home itself.

Questions

Before you give

How does the matching work?

Matching partners pledged a fixed sum before the campaign. For every euro you give, they add one more, until their pledge is used up. The bar under the match badge shows how much is left. During a power hour, a second partner adds another euro on top.

Can I give monthly or spread my gift?

Yes. "Monthly" is an ongoing gift; its first twelve months count toward the goal and are matched today. "12 payments" splits one gift into twelve monthly payments.

Will I get a receipt?

Every online gift gets a receipt by email right after you give.

Is my gift tax-deductible?

Receipts come from Chabad on Campus Vienna in Austria. What you can deduct depends on where you pay tax. Write to office@chabadoncampusvienna.at and we'll tell you what applies to you.

Can I give in honor or memory of someone?

Yes. Add a dedication in the donation form. It appears on the donor wall with your gift, without your name if you give anonymously.

What if the goal isn't reached?

Every gift still goes to Chabad on Campus Vienna and is still matched while pledges last. The goal is what we're aiming for, not a condition.
